"Sing for Spring" Gala Concert

Our Spring Concert is held in May each year - and the 2010 concert will be a very special one!

This concert features the World Premiere of BBC Award Commission 'Music of the Hill' & 'Mountains I love', and will be held on 8th May 2010, at Victoria Halls, Helensburgh at 7.30 pm.
Come and enjoy an evening of choral favourites, show music, popular songs and the two premiered works by the young Scottish composer Lucinda Ross, using poems by William Wordsworth and Jennifer Hamill taken from 'On the Edge of Silence' - a mountain anthology - compiled by Mary-Jane Selwood.
The new works are funded by a Choral Ambition Grant from the BBC Performing Arts Fund in association with Making Music. We are most grateful to the BBC and Making Music for this generous grant.
